1/2 PW’s Sweet Roll Dough

1 pound hot pork sausage roll

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

Brown sausage.  Spoon sausage into a paper towel lined plate to drain.  While sausage is still warm,  mix it with the softened cream cheese in a bowl.

Roll dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.  Spoon cream cheese and sausage mixture onto dough.

Spread over dough with a spatula.

Roll the dough starting with the long end closest to you.  Keep the roll tight and pinch the seam once finished.

Cut log into 1 1/2 inch slices.  Butter two pie pans and place slices into pans cut side up.  Let rolls rise for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Bake rolls for 15 to 18 minutes.  Allow to cool for a few minutes, but serve warm.
